Independence Day

Kutaisi was focal point of this year’s celebrations of the Independence Day on May 26 as Georgia’s second-largest city hosted first session of Parliament in yet to be fully constructed new glass-dome Parliament building and a military parade. Meanwhile in Tbilisi “an industrial parade” or “Made in Georgia” was held, wherein broad verity of Georgian-made products, ranging from ice-creams and candies to railway carriages and military hardware, was displayed.
