On February 25 Georgia unveiled its first-ever domestically manufactured infantry fighting vehicle, Lazika, at the Vaziani military base outside Tbilisi.

Infantry fighting vehicle (IFV), Lazika, was developed by research center Delta of the Georgian Ministry of Defense. According to MoD, Delta has been working on IFV development for past two years and the combat vehicle is now undergoing "final stage of testing".
