Georgian Dream Plans Campaign Rally in Tbilisi

Bidzina Ivanishvili-led Georgian Dream opposition coalition said it would hold an outdoor campaign rally in Tbilisi two days before the October 1 parliamentary elections.

The coalition said on Tuesday that it had notified the Tbilisi Mayor’s Office about the intention to hold a march from several locations in the capital city and a rally on Freedom Square on September 29.

Georgian Dream formally launched its election campaign with a large-scale rally on Freedom Square in the capital city on May 27.
