Moldovan PM Visits Georgia

The delegation of Moldovan government, led by PM Vlad Filat, is paying an official visit to Georgia on July 9-11.

PM Vlad Fila met on July 9 with his Georgian counterpart Vano Merabishvili for whom it was the first foreign delegation he has received since taking over the Georgian PM’s post last week.

According to the Moldovan PM’s office, a broad range of bilateral issues was discussed during the meeting with the both sides stressing on the need to further deepen cooperation, including through exploring a possibility of launching direct air flights between Tbilisi and Chisinau.
