Georgian FM Meets WTO Head

Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze met with WTO Director General Pascal Lamy in Salzburg on August 20, the Georgian Foreign Ministry said on Monday.

During the meeting on a sideline of an international conference Salzburg Trilogue 2011 Vashadze discussed the Swiss-mediated WTO talks between Georgia and Russia.

The next round of talks between Tbilisi and Moscow on Russia’s WTO entry terms is planned for mid-September.
