Russian steel tycoon Alisher Usmanov has bought Russia’s largest publishing house, Kommersant, for USD 300 million from Badri Patarkatsishvili, the daily Kommersant reported on August 31.

Patarkatsishvili reportedly bought the Kommersant publishing house from Boris Berezovsky in February, 2006.

The publishing house unites Russia's leading business broadsheet Kommersant and two weekly magazines - the political Vlast and the financial Dengi, as well as 12 regional companies.
